I am interested in the boundaries between nature and civilization.
Through the medium of the relief print I explore the complex associations that landscapes – both natural and human – evoke in humankind. My current show: “Kelp Forest” series, showcases the fragile underwater landscape of the Pacific Ocean kelp forest. I want to bring that complex and environmentally sensitive world to life in hopes others share my interest in the ecosystem survival of this great underwater forest. The Kelp Forest series is on view at the Duthie Gallery.
