Abstraction found me. It provided freedom to probe and question without the necessity to adhere and rely on existing light, people or scenes. The literal act of painting on a flat surface has offered a profound and satisfying method to explore the mystery of my questions.
Colour is essential to my probing. With colour's infinite spectrum my exploration began and continues. I have glimpses of answers but realize the mystery remains unfathomable. |
